TWE Coupon Guidelines

TREASURY WINE ESTATES COUPON GUIDELINES

Coupons are an important and a necessary sales tool to support the business. However, there is a need to standardize coupon guidelines to ensure we are as efficient and effective as possible and to provide Sales and Marketing with clear expectations.

Overall

  • Coupons should only be offered to help drive feature & display activity and out of section displays.
  • Coupons should not primarily be used as additional price support. Coupons plus Price Support cannot be below brand price guidelines.
  • Coupon coverage should be only for incremental case sales so limit coverage to a maximum of 50% of the cases promoted.
  • Coupons can only be developed with IRG or your Trade Marketing manager.
  • Distributor and other coupons will not be honored for payment by TWE.
  • Coupon offers must be approved by your DFD.
  • National offers are limited to strategic tie in partner offers and FSI’s.
  • All other coupons including MIR’s, IRC’s and local state mandated tie in partner coupons are initiated and funded by Sales.
  • Coupons can only be initiated with all coupon/rebate request form details provided.
  • Coupons can only be presented to the retailer or customer after obtaining DFD approval.
